We have very CLASSIC litter of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers right now. Six Boys and one girl! There is a nice variety of light and dark boys, but Brown is the main color of the boys in this litter. The little girl is Brown in color and super sweet. This litter should have a wonderful temperament, love to please, hard working and lots of hunting , retrieving, trainable lines in their pedigrees. We love that predictability of a nice pedigree.
Mom is Abby, she weighs about 75 pounds, Dark Brown in color, a hard charger in the Field, very "Classic" Chesapeake in personality, a fun dog to work and hunt with, she is a bit selfish which makes hunting upland a lot of fun! Abby is built very strong and she is as loyal as can be. Still friendly and upbeat as well.
Dad is "Oak", "Oak" is a wonderful, hard working companion. He loves to retrieve in any terrain, the harsher the better and in the the water, icy or not. He has an excellent temperament with all people, and other dogs, and especially good with children. He is confident, has a GREAT personality and is stunningly handsome with an outstanding pedigree. Oak is a rare find in the Chesapeake breed! He weighs about 85 pounds.
