These puppies are gorgeous! They are all so cute, but in the 25 years we've been training, I don't think I've ever seen on so dark! I have a light, medium and super dark!...wow!
All the girls are hilarious in personality, soooo happy!
This is a wonderful litter out of Skye and Oak! Skye is my magnificently colored Chesapeake Bay Retriever, she seemingly has the all the cozy shades of the Chesapeake breed rolled in one, along with her splash of white on her chest. But this litter has something for everyone, both solid coats, minimal white, to lots of white! As you can see the colors are ranging from a light deadgrass Male to dark brown Female. Oh how fun it is to hang out with these sweet puppies!
OK, back to mom. Skye, she has the warmest of personalities, loves to please, super happy, and the nicest temperament ever! She loves everyone, kids and other dogs. Her whole body wags along with her tail 100% of the time. But not overloaded with energy. She looks at you with love and devotion like all Chesapeakes should, and loves to retrieve and is an excellent hunting companion. We all just love her endearing attitude. She is a great size for a Chesapeake, about 70 pounds, very thick body and very nice coat.
Dad is "Oak", "Oak" is a wonderful, hard working companion. He loves to retrieve in any terrain, the harsher the better and in the the water, icy or not. He has an excellent temperament with all people, and other dogs, and especially good with children. He is confident, has a GREAT personality and is stunningly handsome with an outstanding pedigree. Oak is a rare find in the Chesapeake breed! He weighs about 85 pounds.
